Location: The Botanical Gardens are located at Montpelier Estate, Nevis, W.I. 17*04’22.46”N & 62*34’43.38”W. Taxis and rental cars are readily available in Nevis. Please be aware that operators offering Island tour packages may not provide as much time as you might like to visit the Gardens. The average visit takes about 40 minutes, not including time to browse the The Galleria Shop. Ask your tour operator. The Botanical Gardens and The Galleria Shop are open: Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Closed: Sundays and some St. Kitts & Nevis public holidays. Please call for Public Holidays schedule. Private parties are welcomed. Seasonally, the Botanical Gardens close mid August to mid October. The Gardens may also be closed on rare occasions due to serious weather conditions, or when hosting a private event. Please call (869)469-3509 to confirm that the Gardens are open. The greeting will provide updated information. Driving Directions: We are located 15 minutes from Charlestown, about 35 minutes from the airport, and about 20 minutes from the Four Seasons Resort. There are two routes to the Botanical Gardens from the Island Main Road. We recommend the Brown Hill route because the road is in much better condition. Look for our directional signs. Gardens via Brown Hill: Turn off the Island Main Road into Brown Hill (known as Brown Hill Gap) which is a right turn as you drive from Charlestown. About one mile into the village turn left immediately after the basketball court on your right. Drive straight up the hill about ¼ mile and the Gardens entrance will be on your left. Gardens via Cole Hill: Turn off the Island Main Road into Cole Hill (right as you come from Charlestown). The road makes a sharp curve to the right ¼ mile in. Follow the curve another ¼ mile and make the sharp left (this is a very rough two-track section) and where it ends make a right. The Gardens are ¼ mile down the road on the right.
